OK, pity that didn't do it!

You could try explicitly sizing them in CSS or an inline eg
style="width:xxx;height:yyy"

Beware that - as far as I know - inline styles only work on IE (and possibly
very recent versions of NS)

Well setting the size only resulted in making both boxes smaller, yet the
top box is still smaller than the bottom.  I was hoping that was it!
