Hi a test version of the site can be accessed via: -
http://www.certifiedsecure.co.uk:8080/csp/smp/sympatel/login.csp

Benutzername = WEB01
Passwort  = TEST1
Use 12345 & Berlin for PLZ und Ort (Validated via German PAF file)
Click on Reichen Sie ein until you get to the prompt "Artikelnummer
eingeben" then enter "M756" and click "Weiter" which will bring up the size/
colours available.

This is the point where the error seems to occur the page displayed at this
time is a frameset consisting of two pages top/btm if you click on
"Rückseite" to go back to the previous page (None Framed) using
target="_top" all is ok except that machines that have been set up to use
the German character set seem to ignore the target="_top" and put the
previous page within the frameset.

We have a D2C web site for the same company www.wrap-london.de and I'm
wondering if this has similar problems.

John

Not sure what you mean by "German language platform", but FWIW I'm running a
German version of IE6 on a German version of Windows 2000 and I have never
experienced this - why should a German language version ignore certain HTML
attributes?

Perhaps you can give us a link to the site in question, or at least a link
to some example code, so we can see what's going on.
