(I even tweaked the results to make thumbnails!)

Quite straightforward to configure, very helpful mailing list - 
documentation seems a bit behind mainly because there are a v small team 
of developers, but they do respond quickly on the mailing list.

latest version (pre-release) has a lot of extra function (like phrase 
searching) I've not tested it yet.

I've built (best to build from source) on a range of machines, including 
Windows XP (using cygwin)

There are contributed wrappers (in PHP) that will allow you to format the 
results with even finer control.
