Dump the CGI idea and go with straight PHP.

I was looking for a decent php form script and I came across Phorm
[http://www.phorm.com/].  FYI, Phorm is a a PHP-based form processor
that is ridiculously easy to set up and customize.

I'm curious - does anyone have an objections to Phorm?
