For starters, you've locked me and every other Linux user out of the useful
content of your site: Scorch plugins are available only for Windows and Mac. 
Linux users are still a pretty small demographic, so maybe you don't care. 
But if you do, you'd need to present your content in an alternative (or
additional) format - perhaps PDF.  That would have the added advantage of
providing an option for those (likely many) Windows/Mac viewers who aren't
so dedicated to seeing your content that they'll go download and install a
cool new plugin just for you.
