[thelist] CSS Question

Having trouble with both IE 5.2 Mac and Netscape 6.2 Win, on this page:
http://www.practicepaysolutions.com/indexnew4.php

The problem is in the gray bar near the top (div#middlenav).  In IE 5 Mac,
the LI background images are way off to the left.  In NS 6.2 Win the
background of #middlenav is not showing up which is kind of baffling.

Any suggestions on this?  I googled a bit, and found some related bugs with
floated elements, but I don't see anything about background images per se.
Maybe I'm just getting tired...
