Interesting. I independently thought of the same feature (replacing the the
email address with a code), in Perl, at [1]. It's targeted mainly to contact
forms, so you can replace "mailto" links with something like <a
href="contact.html?to=John">, but it also relays on any additional fields,
so it can be used with more generic forms, too.
