I would recomment AVG from Grisoft.

Purely anecdotal, but I tried switching from NAV to Grisoft's AVG about 6
months back.  Within days of installing, some of my clients received virus
payloads from my machine.  Gah!  Much as Norton/Symantec's products are
indeed a massive tarantula, NAV has been the most reliable solution for me -
especially given that I can get OEM CDs of SystemWorks 2003 for <$10 via
PriceGrabber.
