Sorry there was a bug in that code I sent you - you need to parse the hex
number string backwards (right-to-left):

	for i = 1 to len(hexNum)
		n = ucase(mid(hexNum, len(hexNum) - i + 1, 1))

Anyone know how to do calculations with hexidecimal in asp?

Or at least, how to convert hex to decimal and decimal to hex.
