How about this?
SELECT a.artistName, l.labelName, b.performanceDate, b.performanceTitle,
b.venue, b.city, b.performanceState, b.country, b.comments
FROM ( boots_bootlegs b
LEFT JOIN boots_artists a ON a.artistID = b.artistID )
LEFT JOIN boots_labels l ON b.labelID = l.labelID
WHERE b.bootlegID = '1'
At least it works:)
