Thanks, Ken - very useful.

Two questions: 

1. What is the "modified" attribute in the shortcut file? (See below for an
example.) Windows seems to add this automatically after you use the
shortcut.

2. Any tips on how to specify the icon that windows will use for the
shortcut on the desktop?
