[thelist] how did you learn?

My first sites were put together with Dreamweaver, didn't understand too
much about it then, but reading its help files helped a lot.

A couple sites later I found myself being employed to set up a new media
team in an advertising agency - even though I still didn't understand
that much what I was doing. But that was great boost for my learning for
two reasons: permanent internet connection (so I was able to spend time
on tutorial sites) and deadlines... Being asked to do things beyond my
skills in too short time really forced me to learn, and fast...

Now I'm using W3C specs and PHP manual for learning, and don't use DW
anymore.

So, if anyone who was there creating Dreamweaver is reading this list:
Thank you!! I believe that I'm not the only one who got started in this
new and obscure world of the web just because of DW.
