[thelist] Which OS to trust for keeping productive?

I use Windows 2000 Pro at home and think it's ok. I also tried XP, it
sucks. I also use my own GNU/Linux distro (LFS Based -
http://linuxfromscratch.org), it's fine.

I have a Windows 2003 EE at work (as fileserver and webserver). It's
not so bad, it's better than sharing files with floppy disks.
