[thelist] no forms from with user controls?

The book I'm using to (try to) teach myself about asp.net tells me to "never
use the <form> tag from with a user control."  WHY?????

I'm building a page with dynamic content, and one of the possible content
displays has a form in it.

ARRRRRGGGGGGG $#@&*(!!!!

I am THIS CLOSE to scraping this asp.net stuff and doing this site in
classic asp.
