[thelist] Client-side or Server-side Form Validation?

I have to agree with Ken on this subject.  Server-side validation is
absolutely required to prevent bad data getting into (and perhaps
damaging) your system.  Client-side validation is a courtesy to users,
as it can provide instant feedback.

Client-side validation is also handy if your server-side system is
limited, or you don't have access to it.  That wasn't really the
question, though.
