[thelist] outlook signatures

Oh,

Just to clarify - the signature editor I used was accessed by:

- choose to create a new message
- options button drop-down list
- email signature...
- create a new signature

(there's another way, via Tools -> Options, but that's more cumbersome to get
to)

Cheers
Ken

:
: No, I don't think that's required.
:
: Go to the signatures section. Create your new signature, and use the Image
: button to insert your image.
:
: When composing your mail, choose HTML format. Do not use Rich Text (because
: usually Exchange administrators have the Exchange box configured to convert
: Rich Text emails that are sent outside the Exchange org to HTML mail, and
the
: image is lost).
:
: I will send a test to you offlist (the list doesn't accept HTML mail). I've
: just done some testing myself, and I can send an email containing an image
to
: my Gmail account.
:
: Cheers

: : I didn't think it was possible to add an image without adding a doc as
: : the signiture which is a html file saved from a word doc or is there
: : another way? Creating an html file in anything other than word doesn't
: : embedd the images for some odd reason (not that odd really)
