Do you have a URL we can look at to see if we can see anything fishy?
If not, there are a couple of things you should do. Firstly validate the 
HTML, it might be getting confused by some non-standard markup. Secondly 
install the firefox extension Live HTTP Headers 
http://livehttpheaders.mozdev.org/
this extension lets you view the HTTP headers so you will be able to see 
if the content is being server correctly
