That's the only downside to law firms (besides the lawyers).  Ideally 
they could use an IMAP server to keep the email on so that it is 
centralized and a client such as Thunderbird which will allow the users 
to search through the messages.  Would also allow for a webmail solution 
in case anyone wished to check mail whilst away from the office and 
still have said functionality.
