Microsoft serves me well. A combination of a hardware firewall, a
third-party software firewall, up-to-date virus definitions and a bit of
common sense ensures that security issues don't keep me up at night. I use
ActiveSynch to keep my PDA synched with Outlook, and I periodically synch my
phone via IR to ensure that contacts, calendar entries and tasks are
available to me on all of my devices. I have a dual boot with Windows 2k3
for development and XP for personal stuff. I've got a 1.13Ghz PIII, and I
have no performance worries at all.

How has Microsoft let you down personally?

Regards

Chris Marsh
