I like csSearchPro. http://www.cgiscript.net/site_apps.htm

It only costs $25, and is easy to set up and use. You can set it up to
search the entire site or leave out any files/directories you want to be
ignored. It provides stats on searched terms. And you can "index" the site
for faster searches.

See it in use here: http://www.jcrs.com/search_jcrs.htm. This site has tons
of information about jewelry, so try a search term like "moissonite"
(synthetic diamond).

A nonprofit client wants me to recommend a search engine for their site. It
needs to be low priced, and non-intrusive regarding branding. Does anyone
have a favorite?
