It might suit your needs.  The reason I like it is because it was 
written from the ground up to be css/xhtml compliant, so the front end 
can be as sophisticated as your chosen stylesheets.  I'm no php guru 
either, and managed to get it up and running with only a few burps.  
They also have a pretty active messageboard for when the install does burp.
