Not sure if this will help, but here is a link to some example documents I
use.

Subject: [thelist] Create a pre-project documentation
Hello everyone.
I have just joined this list, and am fascinated with it's diversity. I
have been googling this subject for much to long now, and really need
some help.
I have never, ever documented anything that I have done. I document my
code very well ... but now I have to take it to the next level.
In the coming months I will be creating a totally new website at my
workplace and have been asked to document what I want to do and how I
am going to do it. I already have written a plain text document with
the broad outline of the website functions, but now I have to get into
the tech stuff.
What I need from you is a little help on getting started (and finish
too). What should I use for the document structure and so forth. If
anyone can share some examples that would be very much appreciated ...
