[thelist] Good "tests" for prospective employees?

Sit down with the applicant and look at some site and it's 
corresponding source code that you know has problems/issues and ask 
them to critique it. Would they do it differently? If so, why? Do they 
think it's just dandy? Do they think the nav was done well? Could it be 
improved?

Their ability to spot the errors and/or give their own viewpoints on 
how they would do it should shed some light into how they will approach 
a project.
