It says that to prevent people used to officially released software
products from having justifiable complaints about crashes, lost data, or
other problems from the use of alpha or beta software not intended for
use by people not used to or prepared to deal with those events
personally when they do occur.

You cannot expect all extensions to work properly unless they were
intended for the software version you are using. Since beta software is
a moving target, non-functional and dysfunctional extensions are common
in it. One that for sure does not currently work is Web Developer:
