Anyone else seen this in their logs? query_string : 404;http://www.example.com/SlurpConfirm404/perhaps.htm ip : 66.196.91.119 The site in question /has/search/engine/friendly/urls/ and properly sends a 404 down the pipe when a true 404 exists.... it was followed by: query_string : 404;http://www.example.com/SlurpConfirm404/successfr.htm ip : 66.196.91.119 It's part of Inktomi's IP range (and says Slurp in the address...) I think they're trying to detect search engine friendly urls, or sites that throw no 404s whatsoever. Any idears? Anyone else seeing it? nagrom
