That has one unwanted implication: search engines crawling evolt 
archives prioritize the subject line - so if somebody later searches for 
that site in say Google, they'll get to see the evolt messages pretty 
high on the results. And that is not a good thing for many reasons.

The messages posted on the list get archived "forever" and have your 
name on them. When a potential employer, client and spouse searches with 
your name, they'll see these messages - it's nice if you appear on those 
messages as helpful, polite and professional rather than the opposite :-)
