[thelist] vbscript/mssql calendar

I need a very simple online event calendar. Just needs to display a full
month with any events listed on the appropriate date. This is for a
band's booking site, so there will only be a handful of events each
month, with no need for a user friendly input tool. Everything I google
up is way too complex, but I know there's something out there I can
modify rather than building it from scratch.

Ideas?
