Hi Dan,

As Asif suggested, we have also used alerts and warnings. They have
worked pretty well for us.

If you have a tad larger budget, you can also use separate boxes. Today
we run separate 'development', 'integration testing', and 'production'
versions of our stuff - all sitting on different boxes connected to
different DBs sitting on different DB boxes. Anytime we demo anything in
the development or integration environment the users know, (cuz we tell
'em yet again), that we are not using complete production data.

HTH,

RonL.
