This has been given as a tip dozen of times:

Not everyone has enough time to read all posts.

And people mostly decide to read a post or not depending on its subject line.
So it's a good practice to write coherent subject lines related to
message content.

Secondly, when you realize discussion deviates from the subject line,
it is a good practice to start a new thread with a brand new subject.
