Description: 
As part of Audible’s Platform Business unit, this individual will be
responsible for product management of Audible’s wireless software
initiatives. Success requires the launch of wireless products within time
frame and specification. The flexibility and creativity to deal with the
multitude of different tasks to launch new software products for cell phones
is essential for the position.


The ideal candidate for this position has:
Ø      2-3 years experience in the wireless or handset industry
Ø      Demonstrated experience with cell phone software platforms such as
Symbian, UIQ, Java, BREW, Palm, etc. and/or technical tools, applications
and procedures associated with those platforms.
Ø      User interface development/management/expertise a bonus
Ø      A demonstrated history of working on or managing multiple technical
projects with competing objectives and priorities
Ø      Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups,
spanning all organizational levels
Ø      Flexible, agile and able to adapt quickly and be effective in new
situations
Ø      A positive, can-do attitude and entrepreneurial approach
Ø      Comfortable inside a relatively unstructured, fast-paced environment
