[thelist] Registering BAT files as services on Windows

Couls I be reminded, where are files running that are not actually part
of a program?  Are they scheduled tasks with an assigned program open?

Several options: Can you run your files under the local service account?

Can you re-write your scripts as VBS scripts? Depending on what you want

to do you can then impersonate another account.

Failing that, a re-write in dotNet or VB would be in order.
