[thelist] Directory Structure into Access

I've created an Access form and there's a lot of data entry ahead of the person that this is intended for.  However, a big part of it is going to be dropping in file names for everything in a specific directory, as well as associating the directory itself.  For that, I'm referencing the ID for the directory from a separate table.

That said, is there a way to poll the directory, grab all the files and drop them into the database via a script or macro or some other method?  This is all running locally, so there are currently no webservices behind it to help me along.  I'm a relative novice here, so the simpler the solution, the better.
