Yesterday 30 Mar 06) I downloaded Internet Explorer 5.5, to run under
Windows98.

My unzip utility (7-Zip) unpacked it, but noted that "CRC failed in
'IE55SP2-NT\MSHTML.DLL'. File is broken."

And when I double-click on the .exe file, I get the error message "The
IEXPLORE.EXE file is linked to missing export SHLWAPI.DLL:wnsprintfA" and
then "A device attached to the system is not functioning".

I tried finding and downloading new versions of mshtml.dll and shlwapi.dll,
but that didn't seem to help.

Any thoughts?...
