[thelist] line/text returns in IE 5.2 and Safari on Mac

I have two lines of text that in most other browsers stay on one line.
 However in Mac IE 5.2 and Mac Safari they return on the last word,
Mac Opera and Mac FF they are okay.  I have tried increasing the
width, to no avail, but I also want a solution that doesnt cause
issues in the other browsers.

Any ideas?
