[thelist] text-overflow in FF?

Hello all,

I'm sorry in advance for not being able to post a url to see what's  
going on, but my question is if anyone has discovered another way to  
get "text-overflow: ellipsis;" to work in moz/ff?

I've been playing around with the hedgewow code (http:// 
www.hedgerwow.com/360/dhtml/text_overflow/demo.php) but I'm having  
trouble adapting it to my particular situation (the text that gets  
truncated has a selected/unselected state) and was curious if anyone  
had found another solution, maybe using an arcane -moz property?
