Just make sure you have the right charset. Windows-1251 is pretty common
as well as UTF-8. If you do non-latin based database applications,
ensure you have the correct collations on your database columns.
Nvarchar is the most commonly used datatype for non-latin based
character sets. 

Take a good long look at www.thermon.com (my old job). I did it (with
SQL Server 2000) and classic ASP in 8 different languages.
