Not really. I travel 80-90+% of the time and I don't have time to call
the bank during their office hours in their time zone. Maybe my
experience is unique, but even my small credit union has online
banking, and it works fine in Firefox on linux. I also have accounts
with much larger banks like 5/3, and they also work fine in Firefox on
linux.
I personally could not work with a bank lacking sufficient online
banking. I'm not the only one either, which is why my company consults
with a lot of banks integrating online banking systems.
