Another thing you can do is HTML Encode the trouble text and track down 
the character element by it's code.

It might be from cut and paste text from Word into your HTML Forms. That 
can cause weird character issues.

Lastly have you considered using the CDATA element to protect your XML 
from weird characters? I'm not sure if CDATA is valid for RSS feeds, but 
it might be worth a shot.
