Hi Matt,

I'm pretty sure I have also seen folks use multiple invalid values. 
[Used for creating groups of related values.] 

E.g.:

*Select Instrument*
**Strings**
 - Violin
 - Viola
**Woodwinds**
 - Oboe
 - Bassoon
**Brass**
 - Trumpet
 - Euphonium

Yes, this would probably be better structured as a set of 
paired/linked controls, (Select 'Instrument Family' -> then 
Select 'Instrument'), but sometimes you see it done this way.
Country lists broken with headers by region - that kind of thing.
