[thelist] Password alert on Firefox

I have built a form which combines login and register so there is a box 
for password plus a confirmation box which login ignores.

I have copied the form to another location, changed the backend code but 
left the form the same.

I now get a message on Firefox when I try to login 'Please confirm which 
user you are changing the password for'.

How is Firefox generating this? I don't know where to start.
