I am approaching this offer as a company. I have a feeling they are
biased towards a company than an individual, regardless of how big it
is.

I favour what the previous posters suggested and will go by something
like "I am a web developer operating as a company", and making it
clear that the company itself comprises of me alone. That should
suffice and keep everything nice and straight.
