Cookies are nominally more robust than Javascript, but as a user, I
often outright deny any cookies expiring more than two years from now,
as well as e.g. anything from Google (as google-watch.org said: "Yikes!
Too many preservatives"). Most sites that appear to want it for a
session ID, get allow for session. If I deem a site trustworthy, they
get an outright allow (maybe 8-10 sites fall into this category).
