[thelist] user-secure photos?

I've been asked to do a simple site for a client.  Overall it's  
pretty basic -- no major interactivity or such, EXCEPT....

The admin would like to be able to upload photos that only a  
particular person (with username/password) can see.

I suppose this could work with some sort of messageboard system as  
well, but I'm not sure how to approach it.

Any suggestions?
