[thelist] tabbed nav: won't sit down in FF, head chopped off in IE

Try this in your css:

div#navcontainer{height:24px; margin:0 auto; padding:0; text-align:left}
ul#navlist,ul#navlist li{list-style-type:none;margin:0;padding:0}
ul#navlist{float:left;font-size: 80%}
ul#navlist li{float:left;margin-left: 3px;text-align: center}
ul#navlist a{float:left; width:80px; padding: 5px 0;text-decoration:none;}

that could be made to work in FF, but in IE the tabs still float to the
top and get their heads chopped off.
