An SSI-included file must be on the same server; it can't be external
(what you're misleadingly calling an "absolute path", which means a
path starting with "/", at least to most people).

What you want could be made to work if your include was a CGI on
the local system that proxied the file you're interested in.  A bit of a
kludge, but... :-)
