[thelist] open source or hosted wish list/registry type app

I'm looking for an open source app or a hosted solution, that would be
something like a wish list or online registry (for wedding or baby
showers, etc). I'm looking for something that doesn't have to be tied to
a website (or multiple websites). Just basically something where the
user could enter a list of items they want, optionally with store and
price info, and other users could peruse the list and then update the
list to indicate that an item has been purchased. I've tried googling,
but by google-fu is failing me on this one.
