[thelist] I need to uninstall oracle 9 and install oracle 10

[Lightning]

 I started to unistall yesterday. After 10 minutes, routine had progressed 
3%, and taking up all my resources. I needed the computer at that time, so I 
cancelled uninstall.

Today, I tried to resume and couldn't. Looks like the oracle uninstall 
feature was the first to disappear!

Oracle does not appear in my add/remove programs. And the install/uninstall 
feature of oracle is now gone.

I will try a restore next, but wanted to see what you experts had to say, 
first.
