Asterfax would require an Asterisk server, which I bet he doesn't
have, besides if he wanted to have one, it would probably be more
expensive than everything else to set up :)

Now, talking about what others said about computer receiving faxes, he
could have whatever PC with a Linux distro using efax (fits in a
floppy, just for the record), that would receive faxes and print them.
