Wasn't really following the thread (I'm CF guy, not PHP) but if 
you're looking for a fairly decent easy to implement wysiwyg browser 
editor (with examples for setup) you might be interested in 
http://xstandard.com/

Personally, I'm not a big fan of FCK editor. I don't like the quality 
of the HTML that it produces and I find it a bear to set up properly.
