[thelist] JavaScript error? HTML checkbox not rendering checkmark

Ai-yi-yi. Thanks, Ken--that was it. I was hacking into the pre- 
existing modal window script, which adds a click event to the parent  
<div> that returns false. I didn't realize that the parent <div>s  
click event would override the checkboxes. I also didn't think to  
disable JavaScript after the modal window appeared.

Two things learned today.
